I’m fundraising to support families facing childhood cancer
On Saturday, December 14th, I’ll be taking part once again in one of my favourite events of the year — the Santa Downwinder from Leighton Beach to Trigg, alongside my kite buddies.
This event supports Redkite, a children’s cancer charity that provides vital practical, emotional and financial support to families when their child is diagnosed. It’s a cause very close to my heart, having seen the difference Redkite makes to friends of mine through the toughest times imaginable.
Kiteboarding is a phenomenal sport, and I’m so proud that our community comes together to use it for good — to bring a little Christmas sparkle, hope and relief to families who need it most.
So please, if you can, donate whatever you can spare. Every contribution helps Redkite continue their incredible work and spreads a bit of the Christmas magic to those who need it most.
