Fundraising Terms and Conditions
In confirming my registration as a fundraiser for Redkite, I understand that I am agreeing to these Fundraising Terms and Conditions.
I am aware that the running my fundraising activities is entirely my responsibility. I will disclose all relevant information to Redkite and provide additional information as required.
I have also read and agree to the Fundraising Guidelines and will ensure my fundraising activities meet all requirements stated.
I understand Redkite has the right to decline or terminate my fundraising activities at any time if I do not meet the requirements of these Fundraising Terms and Conditions or the Fundraising Guidelines.
Redkite will automatically decline high risk activities – including but not limited to activities that:
- Pose a high level of personal or public safety and health risk.
- Involve weapons/firearms.
- Exploit labour or otherwise harm workers or children.
- Involve pornographic, nudity or sexual imagery/ activities.
- Involve cigarettes, cigars, or other tobacco products.
- Could have potential to negatively impact the environment.
- Involve violence or the promotion of violence.
- Involve carcinogenic products.
- Involve any use of animals for sport, entertainment, performance, recreation, work, or training where injury, pain, suffering or distress may be caused (e.g., shearing sheep, horse/greyhound racing, circus, animal fighting, animal performing).
- Use the Redkite logo for packing or promotion of a product sold in a retail environment without an established corporate partnership agreement.
My participation and the activities I run is solely at my discretion and I have undertaken my participation freely, voluntarily, and absolutely at my own risk and with a complete understanding of the nature and extent of all risks involved in the activities I organise. I am aware that Redkite’s public liability does not cover my event or activity. I will seek my own as required.
I understand certain risks or dangers that may occur include, amongst others: physical exertion to which I may not be accustom, bodily or psychological injury, changing weather conditions and environmental dangers and the possibility of accident or illness requiring the assistance of medical and rescue services which may not be readily available.
I agree to waive any and all claims that I may have now or in the future against Redkite, the charity. I agree to release Redkite from any and all liability for any loss, damage or expense associated with injury, including death, that I may suffer or sustain as a result of participation, or activities I organise. This includes negligence, breach of contract, breach of any statutory or other duty, on the part of the charity including the failure to instruct, warn, safeguard the participant from all the risks and the types of risks associated with the activities.
I understand that I may collect donations through the online fundraising page provided through Redkite’s sign-up process – but that any other fundraising activity or event will not commence until I have a written Authority to Fundraise from Redkite.
I agree to ensure that any fundraising I undertake will comply with any relevant Federal, State, or local legislative requirements and have all the appropriate permits, licenses, and insurance for fundraising in the state and/or territory where the activity is to be held – all obtained before the event has been promoted.
I agree to seek the required permits relating to activities such as raffles, lotteries, auctions and agree to contact your states office for further information and to apply for permits.
