Honouring Johey's Memory, Supporting Families in Need

Maitland Hockey Club is proud to support Redkite in memory of Johey Basedow, who passed away in 2020 at just 15 years of age after a courageous battle with the rare and aggressive cancer DSRCT.

Johey was a much-loved member of our hockey community and is still deeply missed by all who knew him. Through our Johey Basedow Memorial Round and raffle, we are raising funds to help Redkite provide emotional, practical and financial support to families facing childhood cancer.

Thank you for helping us honour Johey's legacy and support families when they need it most.
