I’m fundraising to support families facing childhood cancer

I’ve created this page because I wanted to raise some funds for a great organization.  I am going through my own Cancer journey and am doing okay.   Unfortunately, about 4 weeks ago I was diagnosed with Bowel cancer.  I am a bit lucky in a since that it is currently confined to the bowel and has not spread further.  The last 3 weeks has been a bloody scary time for the family to say the least!  While the outlook is good, I will be going through Chemo and Radiotherapy for the next 6 months to hopefully shrink the cancer.  I will then be having an operation to remove a good chunk of the bowel. This will leave me with some pretty big changes to normal life for a while if not for the rest of life.  People have asked me how they can support, so I came up with the idea to support those who need it.  This in turn will make me happy in the times I need a lift.
