I’m fundraising to support families like my own facing childhood cancer
I’ve created this page because I want to make a difference. I’m inspired by the work that Redkite does and wanted to support them by raising funds through the sales of a children's book about a Red Kite that brings courage to the character "Gale" who story is based on my own childhood story.
When Gale’s brother is diagnosed with cancer, she feels overwhelmed with sadness and withdraws from her friends and the outdoors. On her birthday, her brother gives her a red kite, hoping it will lift her spirits. Reluctantly, Gale takes the kite outside and discovers a newfound friendship with the wind. The wind becomes her companion, whispering words of encouragement and helping her find joy in the small moments.
