I am hosting a running event to raise money to support children and their families facing the difficulties of children with cancer, inspired by our beautiful girl Adelaide.
I’m reaching out to share an incredibly personal journey that has deeply touched my heart. My partner Erin’s beautiful 3-year-old daughter, Adelaide, has recently been diagnosed with brain cancer. Adelaide's family is her mother Erin, father Alex and big brother Matthew. After witnessing what Adelaide has already been through and the emotional toll it takes on our family, it has ignited a strong desire within me to take action.During our time at Sydney Children’s Hospital, I met many remarkable parents who are facing similar battles with their children. Their stories are heartbreaking, yet their courage is inspiring. This experience has motivated me to step up and make a difference for Adelaide and all the children like her.
To raise awareness and support for this important cause, I have committed to a challenging goal: running 800 kilometers in just 8 days. This distance represents the journey from our home to the Sydney Children's Hospital, where Adelaide is bravely undergoing treatment.
I am already in training, pushing my limits to prepare for this endeavor, but I cannot do it alone. Your support can help turn this initiative into a beacon of hope for families in similar situations. Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a significant impact.
