I'm fundraising to help RedKite provide a lifeline to families facing cancer
No one should go through cancer alone. RedKite helps families with financial and emotional support so they can stay together and support those facing treatment. This year, my Mum in the UK was diagnosed with cancer and has gone through radiation therapy. Like many families, I was unable to see her because of the border closures. Whilst she was supported by my Dad and loved ones around her, it was difficult not to be with her in person as she went through a tough and painful treatment. I hope then to raise funds for RedKite so that families facing cancer can be close to each other.
To help fundraise and draw attention to the cause, on 20th November, I will be ride 160km to Newcastle from Sydney through the night, unsupported. The Newcastle Overnight event is put on by a group of adventurous cyclists and hosted by Audax Australia.
Help them by donating to my page through the donate button now! Your support enables Redkite to help more children and families, so please donate and share my page! Thank you for your generous support, it means a lot!
