In Celebration of Fleur Reeman
There has been a person missing from our celebrations. As each year passes, we come together as couples, as families, and as siblings and cousins, to celebrate. We celebrate the passing of time, we celebrate birthdays - those of great importance and those that just pass. And we celebrate Christmases. Each time exchanging gifts and cards to express our love for each other, and acknowledging the importance the other has played in our lives that year. But for too long now we have made no effort to love, to acknowledge and to celebrate the importance of one very special, one exceptional person in our family.
Bright blonde hair. Sparkling eyes. A gorgeous smile. A precious, beautiful girl who is still very much a part of our family today.
Our love for Fleur Reeman runs deep. She holds a special, memorable and eternal place in all of our hearts. And her life continues to impact all of us in more ways than we ever say.
This place is a place to include Fleur in our lives again. A place to show our love for her through a very simple act each year, each birthday, each Christmas. And in doing so, hopefully we can do something that also contributes to showing Fleur's mum - Megan - just how much she is still part of our family and that we have not forgotten Fleur. That she is still imbued in the fabric of the Reeman family and name. And pass this love on to other families suffering through the impossible journey that Megan continues to survive every day.
