The Piper Effect

The Piper Effect

The Piper Effect

In early January of 2018, 8-year-old Piper was diagnosed with an aggressive, difficult to treat brain cancer known as diffuse intrinsic pontine gliomas or DIPG for short. On top of this already devastating news, Piper's family were told they would only have up to 12 months left with her.

On the 28th of January 2018, prior to radiation commencing and only two weeks after her initial diagnosis, Piper tragically passed away.

Piper was described by people close to her as a funny, kind, gentle and caring person. Her infectious smile never went unnoticed. Piper is deeply missed and everyone who was lucky enough to have met her will cherish their memories forever.
