We are fundraising to support families facing childhood cancer

The mighty Snappers of the Coffs Harbour Rugby Club are aiming to raise $10,000 in support of Red Kite, who do so much for families going through the fight against childhood cancers. 

This will be the third consecutive year a handful of players will run a distance over 50km. After a tough loss of one of our own, we wanted to put meaning behind our run. 

The Snappers Club will be running 100km around the Coffs Coast, with a handful to complete the whole 100km, on December 7th 2024. Our aim is to raise $100 per kilometre we run, so any and all support is much appreciated.

Please get behind the red and black of the Snappers as we give back to an organisation that helped one of our own in their time of need.

13 DAYS UNTIL THE BIG DANCE

Monday 25th Nov
The juggernaut that is the 100km run for redkite inches ever closer, with only 13 days until the Snappers club laces up the joggers for the 7th of December trot. 
The lads have been hitting the pavement, posting marathon after marathon in preparation for the event. Blisters, sweat and blood have all been part of the prep but confidence is high as the runners rally around each other. 
Donations from the Snappers and broader community have been steadily flowing, with the effort now at $2700 with another $1000 to be added by the club itself. If you have donated already donated thank you so much, and if your interested please contribute to this vital and just cause.

Sydney Tools Fundraiser

Monday 18th Nov
The lads at Sydney tools turning snags and raising funds for the cause. A highly successful day raising over $780 dollars, which with the support of the snappers rugby club will be bumped up to $1000. We thank everyone who bought a snag, and will continue to pound the pavement in preparation for the 7th of December.

Tuesday 12th Nov
The snappers community have been pounding the pavement, bush tracks and beaches of the Coffs Coast in preparation for the 100km run on the 7th of December. Strava has been a hive of activity as the red and black rack up kilometre after kilometre to calcify the mind and legs for this historic run. Donations have been steady, and support continues to swell as we get closer to the day.
