When one-year-old Florence was diagnosed with a 14 cm Wilms tumour, her parents’ world collapsed overnight. Samantha was six months pregnant and had just been made redundant, while Luke had to stop work to care for Florence and their newborn son, Oliver.
With no income and months of treatment, surgery, and hospital stays ahead, the family faced overwhelming stress and uncertainty. Redkite supporters stepped in and helped provide the vital support so Samantha and Luke could focus on what mattered most – being there for Florence.
